This policy explains how the athar mobile app and this website handle information.
The purpose of athar
athar is a dhikr, istighfar and tasbeeh counter that helps you organise your adhkar and track your progress.
Data stored on your device
Your dhikr counts, adhkar list, goals, theme, language and reminder preferences are stored locally on your device.
The app does not require you to create an account or register.
Notifications
If you enable reminders, athar asks for notification permission. You can decline or withdraw it at any time in your device settings. Reminders are scheduled on your device.
What we don't collect
athar is a free app. We do not save or store your data on our servers; everything you create in athar stays on your device.
Backup and export
athar does not provide cloud sync. Any manual backup or export feature, where available, happens only when you request it and to a destination you choose. Your device's own backups may include app data according to your settings and the platform provider's policies.
Support messages
When you email us, we receive your email address and message content and use them only to respond to you. Support messages are separate from app data.
Support messages are kept for 90 days and then deleted.
Managing and deleting your data
You can reset counts or delete adhkar inside the app. Uninstalling athar removes its local data from your device.
